Both of these teams are bad, but at least Tech is ahead at home for a change
Turnovers have been aplenty by both teams, so hopefully Tech will start getting it together and the shots will begin to fall more frequently in the second half. I can’t say I have much confidence in them, but they just have to put it all together sometime. I hope it is tonight and against A&M in a few days.

This team has aorked hard all year. To see a win happen when so many losses have been suffered through is really nice. I sure hope the home crowd showed their appreciation. Good job Texas Tech.

Great job, Raiders! At least we don’t finish with a goose egg in conference play (Aggies can keep that record). BCG’s first conference win as Raider coach should be a spark for these kids to grow from. WAY TO GO, RAIDERS!!!

Amazing how easy it looks when things go well. OU is not the greatest team and didn’t have their best game, but that was sweet!
Willis really stepped it up on both ends – especially coming off the ankle injury. Nurse struggled shooting early, before hitting a couple, but more importantly: 7 assists, 0 turnovers (awesome!). Lew didn’t start well either, but eventually found his touch – and some attitude. And the team pulled it off with Tolbert and Crockett having productive, but not outstanding games.
Interesting that only 7 players saw action (no Petteway, Minnis or Nash) compared to the usual 9 or more. Apparently BCG is fine with tightening up the rotation when it’s working.
Next up: Aggies at home. Let’s do this!!
