LAJ's George Watson previews the UC Riverside v. Texas Tech series starting today and notes that the Texas Tech pitchers have got to step up their game. Coach Hays says that the team is upset about Saturday's loss:

"You don't ever want to accept losing or anything," Hays said. "And our guys are hurting, and I'm glad they are, but I hope they make it a positive hurt. I hope it will be something that will make them more determined. As a baseball player you do what the game demands you do, and all in all our guys did a good job of that."
