New commit
Chris Roberson committed to Tech. They have him listed as a center, but I think he is going to be a long snapper. Not really big news, but there was that hole to fill. Scout has him listed at 6' 1" 220. I am not sure how big a long snapper should be, but maybe they can use him on other special teams too bc he has some decent speed at 4.68. Not blazing, but could be effective on kickoffs.

Basketball Tallent
First of all I have all the respect in the world for Bobby Knight and he had some very good success here at Tech, but I am wondering if Pat can bring in better talent and build better teams than RMK. The only knocks I have on RMK is 1. that he wouldn't take the big name guys that might leave and 2. he never got a big man. Sure you can bring up Rizmic or however you spell his name, but he was never talented enough to play div 1 basketball. I know he might have looked good on paper, but foreign post player seldom work out. With that said I would like to know everyone's opinion on this topic.

Recruiting
Is it just me or does the recruiting class so far this year seems like a dud? Sure we have Jeffers and a few JC players that make it interesting, but it doesn't seem like the coaches have actually gone out and addressed any of the problems from this year. I still think we need to get some big DTs even if they are only 3 star players I am sure they could dig up someone. I am also disappointed at the lack of talent for the LB positions. I know we are already deep at that position with some decent talent, but hey competition only makes the program better. If we are going to go out and have 3-4OL why can't we at least get one decent LB.? The WR position looks very weak this year as compared to years before. These are just my opinions so far. I don't want to start a controversy just want to know what everyone else thinks about the class so far.
